General Questions

What is the NAWOR Labs Blogger HUD?

The [NAWOR] Labs Blogger HUD is a Second Life blogging system that turns worn-item scans into organized, customizable details for blogs and social media. It continues beyond a basic attachment list with categories, visual correction, styling, verified store links, tags, social output, and supported draft publishing.

How is it different from a typical attachment scanner?

Most scanners identify or save what an avatar is wearing. The [NAWOR] Labs Blogger HUD uses the scan as the beginning of a larger publishing workflow. Bloggers can review classifications, shape the presentation, create platform-specific content, and use verified brand information without rebuilding every credit manually.

Does the HUD use AI?

NAWOR uses AI-assisted matching and organization alongside verified merchant information and administrator-reviewed corrections. AI does not replace verification, and the system preserves an unknown item as readable, unlinked text rather than inventing a brand or destination.

Does the HUD publish posts automatically?

No. Supported blog integrations create drafts for the blogger to review. The blogger remains responsible for approving and publishing the final post.

Is NAWOR Labs affiliated with Second Life or Linden Lab?

No. Second Life® and Linden Lab® are trademarks of Linden Research, Inc. NAWOR Labs and Naworlabs.com are not affiliated with or sponsored by Linden Research.

For Bloggers

What information can the HUD scan?

The HUD processes public worn-attachment names made available through Second Life. Depending on the blogger’s active Addons and supplied information, output can also include reviewed categories, BOM Layer details, saved pose names, blog tags, social information, and verified store links.

Will every product be identified perfectly?

No scanner can guarantee perfect identification because creators use many naming styles, symbols, abbreviations, and attachment methods. NAWOR improves results through verified store records, naming examples, intelligent organization, and an auditable debugger. Bloggers should still review their output before publishing.

What happens when the system cannot identify a store?

The product remains readable in the scan, but the brand appears as unlinked text. NAWOR does not invent a store identity or destination.

Can I correct an item placed in the wrong category?

Yes. The scan debugger lets you review items and correct their categories. The current scan updates immediately, while the correction remains available for administrator review so it can help improve future classification without silently changing the system for everyone.

Can I change how my blog details look?

Yes. The included Visual Styler provides essential presentation choices. Visual Styler Premium expands the available templates, typography, colors, icons, section controls, category controls, brand-link color, and other customization options.

Can I hide section titles?

Yes. Show Section Titles is a Visual Styler Premium feature.

Can I remove the NAWOR credit?

The linked NAWOR credit can be removed through Visual Styler Premium.

What is Social Media Studio?

Social Media Studio is an optional Addon that creates platform-specific output for Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, X, SecondPix, and PrimFeed. It keeps social formatting and hashtags separate from blog details.

Are hashtags sent to blogs?

No. Hashtags are only for Social Media Studio. Blog platforms receive blog tags created for their own tag systems.

What does the Tags Addon do?

The Tags Addon intelligently builds blog-tag suggestions from information such as verified brand names, categories, colors, products, and approved merchant descriptors. Bloggers can review those suggestions and add their own before sending a draft.

Which blog platforms can connect to the system?

Supported publishing Addons are available for Blogger/Blogspot, Tumblr, and WordPress. A blogger purchases only the integration that fits their workflow.

Does NAWOR receive my blog password?

No. Authorization happens on the provider’s own website. NAWOR receives only the authorization needed to operate the connection you approve.

What is Scan a Friend?

Scan a Friend is an optional, Credit-based Addon that lets the HUD owner process a permitted scan of another avatar through the same review and formatting workflow. It should be used only with that person’s knowledge and consent.

What is BOM Layer Assist?

BOM Layer Assist is an optional Addon for details that a normal attachment scan cannot identify reliably, such as makeup, tattoos, body hair, freckles, scars, facial hair, and other Bakes on Mesh layers. The owner intentionally supplies the layer names through the supported in-world notecard device.

What does Premiere Pose Stand add to a scan?

Premiere Pose Stand can save the names of poses used during a shoot and send them into the blogger’s next supported scan, where they appear with the finished details.

Are scan-result pages public?

Scan workspaces use opaque, expiring links and are not designed as searchable public archives. Anyone with a valid link may be able to open it, so bloggers should treat scan links as private.

For Store Owners

How does store information reach the HUD?

The Management SL maintains store and event records. Its API supplies official brand names, destinations, product-naming examples, and other supported information to the NAWOR Blogger HUD. Visit The Management SL for its current registration and update workflow.

Why should my store register?

Registration helps bloggers receive your official brand identity, cleaner product information, and a reliable store destination during supported scans. That means fewer incorrect credits, fewer broken landmarks, and a clearer path from a blogger’s post to your store.

Who manages submitted store information?

Store registration, review, and record updates belong to The Management SL. NAWOR uses information supplied through its API in the Blogger HUD. Visit TMSL for its current review process.

Who maintains and reviews store records?

The Management SL manages the store and event information system. NAWOR Labs creates the Blogger HUD that uses those records. For details about registration and review, visit themanagementsl.com.

What is a permanent TMSL store link?

A permanent business link identifies the store record rather than relying only on a fixed SLURL. The NAWOR Blogger HUD uses the TMSL business identifier when constructing supported store links in formatted credits.

What happens if my store moves?

Update the destination through The Management SL’s workflow. When the destination update is approved, the permanent business link can continue directing readers to the current store. Check TMSL for its current procedures and timing.

Can older blog posts continue sending readers to my store?

Posts using the permanent business link can continue resolving through the maintained store record when its destination changes. A fixed SLURL or text published independently by a blogger cannot be updated automatically by the HUD.

Does NAWOR operate a separate store-link service?

No. The Management SL maintains the business information and permanent store-link system used by this integration. NAWOR Labs uses that information in the Blogger HUD. Read TMSL’s current service information for its link and destination policies.

What happens if my information becomes inaccurate?

Submit corrections through The Management SL’s workflow. Bloggers should review their scan results before publishing and check uncertain credits against current official information.

Where are store-account eligibility and renewals handled?

Store registration, account eligibility, renewals, and business-link availability belong to The Management SL. Visit TMSL for its current terms and procedures; these are separate from purchasing the NAWOR Blogger HUD.

Can I control how my brand is presented?

Maintained brand names, destinations, naming examples, and supported descriptors help the HUD recognize your products. Submit and maintain those business details through The Management SL.

Does registration guarantee every product will match?

No, however, registration gives the system stronger, verified information, but unusual product names and technical limitations can still require blogger review or administrator correction. If a store gives a naming example, it adds information to the AI assisted database that can then properly find matching results. We also have a developed system of search indicators that assist the AI model to have the most accurate results.

Is my private account information displayed to bloggers?

Public output uses the information needed for brand identification and store discovery. Private account credentials and internal account records are not part of blog credits.

Is store registration the same as buying the Blogger HUD?

No. Store registration is managed through The Management SL. The NAWOR Blogger HUD is the separate product bloggers use to scan, review, format, and prepare content.
