[NAWOR] Labs Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and ****(hidden to protect personal non-Second Life Information, this information will be disclosed in the need of any legal proceedings), operating through its brand **[NAWOR] Labs** (“[NAWOR] Labs,” “NAWOR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). [NAWOR] Labs is a brand operated by ****. These Terms govern your access to and use of [NAWOR] Labs websites, the **[NAWOR] Labs Blogger HUD**, Addons, registrars, Store Integration Devices, scan workspaces, publishing connections, Unique [NAWOR] Links, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

The Services are operated from Texas, United States, and may be offered to eligible Second Life users worldwide.

## 1. Acceptance

By purchasing, activating, accessing, or using a Service, you agree to these Terms and the [NAWOR Labs Privacy Policy] https://www.naworlabs.com/privacypolicy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use the Services for a business, group, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

## 2. Eligibility and accounts

You must satisfy Second Life’s current age and account-eligibility requirements and the eligibility requirements of every connected provider you choose. Users who are 16 or 17 may use the Services only to the extent their Second Life account is permitted to access the relevant in-world content and, where applicable law requires it, with authorization from a parent or legal guardian. By purchasing or activating a paid Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity or required authorization to enter this agreement.

Your Second Life owner UUID may serve as the durable customer identity for access, Addons, Credits, and support. You are responsible for securing your Second Life account, connected publishing accounts, private scan links, devices, and browsers. You must promptly notify NAWOR Labs of suspected unauthorized use.

You may not sell, lease, share, or transfer account-based access, Addon entitlements, Credits, authorization tokens, or private workspaces except where NAWOR Labs expressly permits it.

## 3. The Services

The Services may include:

– scanning public worn-attachment names made available through Second Life;
– formatting scan Details for blogs and supported social platforms;
– Visual Styler, Social Media Studio, Tags, Scan a Friend, BOM Layer Assist, Premiere Pose Stand, and supported publishing Addons;
– merchant registration and approved product-naming guidance through the Store Integration Device;
– private, expiring scan workspaces;
– draft creation through Tumblr, Blogger/Blogspot, or WordPress; and
– permanent TMSL permanent links that resolve to the eligible current destination for a registered store.

Features may require a separate purchase, active entitlement, subscription, Credit, supported device, connected third-party account, or administrator approval. An unavailable, expired, revoked, refunded, or unpurchased feature may remain hidden and must not be used to produce protected output.

## 4. License and ownership

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable charges, NAWOR Labs grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to use the purchased Services for their intended purpose.

NAWOR Labs and its licensors retain all rights in the Services, including software, scripts, databases, designs, interfaces, workflows, documentation, trademarks, and branding. Purchasing a product does not transfer source code, intellectual-property ownership, database rights, or the right to reproduce or resell the system.

You may use output you lawfully create through the Services in your own blog, social media, and related content, subject to third-party rights and any applicable credit settings.

## 5. Your content and responsibilities

“Your Content” includes information, text, tags, images, URLs, notecards, pose names, merchant details, corrections, feedback, and other material you submit or direct the Services to process.

You retain your rights in Your Content. You grant NAWOR Labs a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, format, transmit, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content and that it does not violate law, another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or provider rules. You are responsible for reviewing scan results and drafts before publishing or relying on them.

## 6. Scan accuracy and classification

Second Life attachment and inventory names are created by third parties and may be incomplete, stylized, ambiguous, misleading, or technically unavailable. NAWOR Labs does not guarantee that every brand, product, attachment point, category, BOM layer, pose, link, color, tag, hashtag, or detail will be detected or classified correctly.

The Services preserve unknown products as readable unlinked text rather than inventing a brand or destination. Debugger corrections can update the current scan and may be retained for audited future improvement, but they do not guarantee an immediate or permanent global classification rule.

You must verify output before publication, purchase decisions, attribution, or other reliance.

## 7. Scan a Friend

You may use Scan a Friend only with the scanned person’s knowledge and permission and only for the feature’s intended blogging or styling workflow. You may not use it to harass, monitor, profile, expose, or collect information about another person without authorization.

Scan a Friend may require Credits held by the HUD owner. You remain responsible for any content you publish about the scanned person.

## 8. BOM Layer Assist and Premiere Pose Stand

BOM Layer Assist processes a notecard you intentionally place into the supported in-world device. The supported workflow may delete the device’s copy after transfer so the next session can use a fresh notecard. You are responsible for keeping your own inventory copy.

Premiere Pose Stand can include selected pose names in a scan. You are responsible for the animations and pose names you place in or use with the product and for complying with their creator’s permissions.

## 9. Publishing integrations

Publishing connections use authorization supplied by Tumblr, Google/Blogger, or WordPress. NAWOR Labs does not receive your provider password.

When you choose “Send Draft” or an equivalent action, you instruct NAWOR Labs to transmit the selected content, supported formatting, links, and blog tags to that provider. Hashtags are intended for Social Media Studio and must not be sent as blog tags.

You must review every draft before publication. Providers may alter or reject colors, fonts, HTML, links, tags, spacing, or other formatting. NAWOR Labs is not responsible for a provider’s availability, policy, moderation decision, account restriction, API change, or final rendering. Provider terms also apply, and you may disconnect access through the supported workflow or the provider.

## 10. The Management SL integration

The NAWOR Blogger HUD connects to The Management SL through its API for maintained store and event information. TMSL manages registration, review, and updates to those records.

Business owners should provide accurate names, destinations, and naming examples through TMSL’s registration and update workflow. NAWOR uses supplied records to help identify scanned items and present supported credits.

TMSL’s current registration process, service availability, and any applicable prices are described by The Management SL. Purchasing the NAWOR Blogger HUD or an Add-On does not by itself register a business with TMSL.

The availability of TMSL records and permanent links depends on that service and its current policies. NAWOR does not guarantee approval, uninterrupted link availability, or a particular destination.

Registration decisions, verification requests, and business-record corrections should be handled through The Management SL. Visit https://themanagementsl.com/ for its current information and terms.

## 11. TMSL permanent business and event links

A permanent TMSL link is associated with a registered business or event. NAWOR uses these links in supported HUD credits. An approved destination update in TMSL can keep an existing link useful after a move.

– TMSL maintains the destination and registration record.
– The NAWOR HUD uses the supplied information through the API.
– A permanent link does not rewrite a raw SLURL pasted separately into an older post.
– Do not use a business or event link to impersonate its owner, imply a false affiliation, or mislead readers.

The Management SL governs its own link presentation, availability, and destination-update process. The NAWOR Blogger HUD’s use of a TMSL link does not transfer control of the registered business or event record to NAWOR.

## 12. Purchases, subscriptions, Credits, renewals, and refunds

Prices may be shown in Linden dollars, United States dollars, or another displayed currency. Currency conversions are estimates unless the checkout provider states otherwise. Taxes, marketplace fees, exchange rates, and provider charges may apply.

The applicable product listing or checkout will state what is included, whether access is perpetual or subscription-based, the renewal period, and any included Credit quantity.

– Addons are independently entitled unless a bundle expressly says otherwise.
– Credits have no cash value, are not legal tender, and may not be transferred or resold unless expressly permitted.
– Scan a Friend Credits do not expire, are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred.
– Refunds, redelivery, replacement, renewal, and revocation are governed by the policy shown at purchase and applicable law.
– A refund, charge reversal, fraud finding, expired subscription, or entitlement revocation may disable related access.

Purchases are generally final and non-refundable. Verified duplicate purchases will be refunded. Product corrections, adjustments, replacement delivery, or in-store Credit may be offered case by case. Addon ownership is permanently associated with the purchasing Second Life avatar unless the purchase is refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or access is terminated for violating these Terms. Store subscriptions renew manually and do not renew automatically. Merchant edit charges and renewal edit Credits are governed by Section 10. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

## 13. Acceptable use

You may not:

– use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to violate another person’s rights;
– bypass, probe, disable, or interfere with authentication, entitlement, rate-limit, privacy, or security controls;
– obtain or attempt to obtain another customer’s scan, token, OAuth credential, account data, Credits, or private merchant record;
– scrape, bulk-harvest, or build an unauthorized database from scans, merchant records, or TMSL permanent links;
– reverse engineer, decompile, copy, reproduce, modify, or create a competing derivative of protected software except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by law;
– distribute altered NAWOR scripts or products as genuine, remove ownership notices, or misuse NAWOR branding;
– upload malicious code or overload, disrupt, or damage the Services; or
– use Scan a Friend or another feature for stalking, harassment, surveillance, discrimination, or non-consensual profiling.

## 14. Feedback

If you send suggestions or feedback, you permit NAWOR Labs to use them without restriction or compensation, but this does not transfer ownership of unrelated content or personal information. We will handle personal information in feedback under the Privacy Policy.

## 15. Third-party services and trademarks

The Services depend on or link to independently operated platforms. NAWOR Labs does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, security, pricing, permissions, or policies. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own agreement.

Second Life® and Linden Lab® are trademarks of Linden Research, Inc. NAWOR Labs and Naworlabs.com are not affiliated with or sponsored by Linden Research. Other names and logos belong to their respective owners.

## 16. Updates, changes, and availability

NAWOR Labs may maintain, update, replace, add, or remove features to improve security, compatibility, compliance, or product quality. We will not intentionally remove a paid core entitlement without providing the remedy required by the applicable purchase terms or law.

The Services may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, third-party changes, Second Life limitations, deployment failures, or events outside our reasonable control. Pre-release, beta, demo, reserved, and future-development features are provided only for evaluation or planning and are not commercial promises unless expressly included in the final product listing.

## 17. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, expired eligibility, fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, provider requirements, or harm to users or the Services. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account or connection closure through **https://www.naworlabs.com/support** or **naworlabs_sl@gmail.com**. Termination does not automatically require deletion of records that must be retained under the Privacy Policy, applicable law, or legitimate audit and dispute needs.

## 18. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” NAWOR LABS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.

NAWOR LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY SECOND LIFE VIEWER, OBJECT, ATTACHMENT, INVENTORY NAME, BLOG PROVIDER, THEME, PLUGIN, OR DEVICE; THAT EVERY SCAN OR CLASSIFICATION WILL BE ACCURATE; OR THAT EVERY LINK OR THIRD-PARTY DESTINATION WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

## 19. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAWOR LABS AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, CONTENT, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAWOR LABS’ TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM ARISING FROM A PAID SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID NAWOR LABS FOR THE AFFECTED SERVICE. FOR A RECURRING MERCHANT SERVICE, THAT AMOUNT IS LIMITED TO THE SUBSCRIPTION OR RENEWAL FEE PAID FOR THE SERVICE TERM IN WHICH THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OCCURRED. FREE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT CHARGE, AND NAWOR LABS HAS NO MONETARY LIABILITY ARISING FROM A FREE SERVICE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

## 20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NAWOR Labs and its operators from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from NAWOR Labs’ own unlawful conduct.

## 21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Dallas County, Texas, and each party consents to that venue and jurisdiction.

Before filing a claim, you must send written notice through **https://www.naworlabs.com/support** describing the dispute and requested resolution, then allow 30 days for an informal resolution. In-world notecards do not constitute legal notice. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

## 22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services or law change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. If a material change requires consent, we will request it. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law.

## 23. General provisions

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; NAWOR Labs may assign them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any product-specific purchase terms form the agreement concerning the Services.
